In 'Sidosa', the director and actor Eduardo Casanova makes the most intimate and significant revelation of his life: he has HIV. There is no precedent in Spain for a public figure to disclose that he is living with HIV — a step that organizations and activists have been calling for for years to help end the social stigma still associated with the virus.

The film deals with the filming of an episode of the series with storylines that take place both within the fiction with the characters of 'Aída' and outside of it with the actors themselves and their relationships, which reflects on topics such as the limits of comedy, the work of a comedian and fame.

Victor works in a real estate agency in the well-known Chueca neighborhood of Madrid. He hides a terrible secret: he makes apartments available for sale by murdering the old ladies owners that live in them. Then, refurbishes and decorates the apartments to sell them to gay couples with high purchasing power. His ultimate objective is to transform Chueca into a kind of London Soho area.
