A young girl, Janica, arrives in a small town and gets a waitressing job at a restaurant run by the Miočić family. Although the family accept her at first, they inexplicably start changing their behaviour which causes a sense of unease and growing paranoia.

After the death of her father, young scientist Ana struggles with an identity crisis, being the last member of a once large family. The changes inside her are suddenly reflected in reality – loneliness, crisis, emigration – and her scientific research on mystical symbols and human traces left in stone are mysteriously intertwined with her life.

Story about a forty-something Sarajevo taxi driver named Fudo (Saša Petrović) who decides to take control of his own destiny. Fudo doesn't earn much, so he supplements his income by offering tips to the local criminal syndicate and turning a blind eye to their nefarious dealings. One day, after offering a particularly bad bit of advice to a violent gangster, Fudo is badly beaten. When Fudo's wife Azra (Daria Lorenci) discovers what has happened, she decides to take the couple's infant son and move out. Now determined to win his wife back and restore peace in the home, Fudo decides to go straight. But cleaning up his act isn't going to be easy, because after borrowing enough cash from black market dealer Sejo (Emir Hadžihafizbegović) to purchase a van and then refusing to aid him in any underhanded dealings, the only person willing to cut him any slack is the sympathetic Azra.

After years of working abroad, Mirjana returns to her small conservative village in the Dalmatian Hinterland, with her parents welcoming her with open arms. However, their demeanor quickly changes once she confesses to being pregnant and not knowing who the father is. Duško moved to Banja Luka and continued his life as a professional volleyball player, trying to be the best possible father for his young daughter Ingrid and get over the recent news of his wife's affair with his best man. Their routine is suddenly thwarted when a mysterious man in black named Antiša enters their lives and takes them away to an abanndoned warehouse near Zagreb, offering them a large sum of money under one simple condition: if they testify against a war criminal on an international tribunal.

Karlovac, Central Croatian Front, 1991. Three Croatian soldiers try to detonate a Serb civilian's home, but are stopped in their efforts by the homeowner, whom they kill in retaliation. The only witness to the murder is the man's daughter, whom they decide to kidnap to prevent the truth from spreading out and causing political unrest. Nevertheless, the case gets out and, unebenknownst to each other, five different people: a homicide investigator, a medical examiner, a local politician, a reporter and the brother of one of the perpetrators, decide to track the perpetrators down to stop the truth from getting out.

When Dea, the youngest member of a conservative family from a small village on the outskirts of Split, recieves the news of her pregnancy, she's sent out into the night and is forced to seek shelter, finally deciding on a nearby island populated with quirky locals with bizzare attributes and tendencies. During the early days of the Croatian War of Independance, Hela Martinić sought shelter as a refugee in Australia. However, after learning about the mysterious circumstances surrounding the recent activities of her old friend Vera Kralj, she decides to return to Zagreb and try and solve the case for herself, as everyone else is too busy wondering about their safety and other wartime anxieties. However, upon further investigation, she discovers that Vera is now involved in the workings of a secret separatist organization, that steals organs from wounded Croatian veterans.
