Filmed at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honors inductees: Tina Turner, Carole King, The Go-Go's, JAY-Z, Foo Fighters, and Todd Rundgren; along with Kraftwerk, Charley Patton and Gil Scott-Heron; LL Cool J, Billy Preston and Randy Rhoads; Clarence Avant for the Ahmet Ertegun Award. The special music event also features a host of all-star presenters, performers, and special guests, including Angela Bassett, Christina Aguilera, Mickey Guyton, H.E.R., Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, Drew Barrymore, Paul McCartney, Lionel Richie, and many others.

In 1941 America, Kay and her husband are happy enough until he enlists after Pearl Harbor. Against his wishes, she takes a job at the local aircraft plant where she meets Hazel, the singer from across the way. The two soon become firm friends and with the other girls become increasingly expert workers. As the war drags on, Kay finally dates her trumpet-playing foreman and life gets more complicated.

Among the artists featured in the movie are Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), Magazine, The Go-Go's, Toyah Willcox, The Fleshtones, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, X, XTC, Devo, The Cramps, Oingo Boingo, Dead Kennedys, Gary Numan, Klaus Nomi, Wall of Voodoo, Pere Ubu, Steel Pulse, Surf Punks, 999, UB40, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Police. These were many of the most popular groups on the New Wave scene; in keeping with the spirit of the scene, the film also features several less famous acts, and one completely obscure group, Invisible Sex, in what appears to be their only public performance.

Over 50 high profile friends including; Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Hugh Jackman, Gene Simmons, Suzi Quatro, Tina Arena, Michael Gudinski, Kate Ceberano, Russell Morris, Colin Hay, Mark Seymour and Jimmy Barnes to name just a few, share their personal stories of the highs and lows of having the man in the hat in their life.

The internationally-loved pop hitmakers helped cement the foundation of the early 80's pop-rock sound without the aid of outside composers, session players or, most importantly, creative compromise. From their very first show, The Go-Go's sang and played their own songs, offering five feisty role models for a generation of ready-to-rock girls and good, hooky fun for pop-loving guys. Nothing But Videos celebrates The Go-Go's with a special episode highlighting some of the band’s most iconic hits including “We Got The Beat”, “Our Lips Are Sealed” and their newest single “Club Zero”.

The Go-Go's take Central Park by storm in this 2001 concert, their first live performance in decades. Serving up a pleasant mix of songs new and old -- including crowd-pleasers such as "Vacation," "We Got the Beat" and "Our Lips Are Sealed," plus a raucous rendition of The Ramones' "I Wanna Be Sedated" -- Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, Kathy Valentine and Gina Schock prove they're still the "It" girls of pop-rock.

“We wanted to end up where we started,” said Charlotte Caffey, and what she meant was Los Angeles. That’s the city in which Caffey and her bandmates formed the Go-Go’s in 1978, and it’s the place they returned Tuesday night for the final show of a month-long farewell tour at The Greek. True to the economical spirit of the music, the Go-Go’s didn’t drag out this goodbye with long speeches or a corny video montage. From the band’s opener, “Vacation,” to its closer, “Head Over Heels,” it was onstage for less than 90 minutes — and that included two encores.
