A woman in her early twenties is found dead at a local playground. Hrafn, a wealthy businessman, is suspected of being involved in the murder as the woman was with him. Unconfirmed gossip about Hrafn's behaviour and attitudes towards women do not help his case but no one is willing to come forward with concrete evidence or any accusations. A body washes up on shore close to Reykjavík Harbour. Could it somehow be linked?

With Lára hot on the heels of the motorcycle gang, things take a sinister turn. Her family is threatened and the safety of her children is put at risk when a Danish 'slayer' at the top of the organization is sent to Iceland to get things straight.

Lára, facing problems in her own relationship, finally succumbs to Hrafn's charm. However, a dinner at Hrafn's house turns out to be far from the evening she imagined.
