Teacher Petar Petrović arrives in the village. Both priests, Priest Ćira and Priest Spira, immediately recognize him as an ideal candidate for a son-in-law. A lively race begins that will mark their relationship: who will succeed in endearing the teacher to his family. The conflict reaches its climax. The desperate moves of the priests become more dramatic and comical at the same time. However, at the very peak of the conflict, both priests finally realize the absurdity of their situation. The series ends with reconciliation, the realization that their daily rivalry, despite all the arguments, is actually a form of unbreakable bond and unique friendship that gives them meaning in their provincial everyday life.
