A touching story of a simple man caught up in the terror of 1971 Bangladesh.

An adventure story for young boys, Dipu Number Two is the second film of a talented director from Bangladesh who is one of the few who concentrate on quality filmmaking in a country with a rich commercial film industry. The story is taken from a youth-oriented novel in which Dipu, a boy belonging to the educated class, is teased by the school bully but eventually forms a deep relationship with him. The rest is totally escapist in nature, including a scene in which the two youths manage to capture single-handedly an entire group of robbers.

A power station clerk maneuvers a blackout every night for a secret rendezvous; a businessman caught in a limbo beside an up-class escort; a travel agent deliberately delays his client’s visa; a girl clandestinely trains herself for a race; a plumber gets entry into a private chamber of an actress he is obsessed with– all are interwoven in a thread of love and lust.

A corrupt MP wants to do party terror in a college by preventing student parliament elections. An honest and brave ward commissioner of that ward stood in his way.

Durjoy's (Amin Khan) father Amzad Khan sold all his businesses and properties in Africa and converted all the cash into various kind of jewels. But on the way back to Bangladesh he died and all the jewels went into the hand of a greedy selfish person named S. K. Mazumder (Wasimul Bari Rajib). Now Durjoy is trying to get back all the jewels from S. K. Mazumder which were rightfully his.
