A slapstick fantasy of the amorous adventures of a magician a la Cantinflas.

Alberto (Fernando Soler) is married with Rosario (Blanca de Castejón), who is a saint and doesn’t realize that her husband is a womanizer that has a lover, Elena (Leonora Amar), whom is an artist and works in the theater, but when Alberto tries to break up with her in order to have a relation with Alicia (Hilda Sour) everything starts to go south for him.

Captain Scarlett rescues Princess Maria from being abducted while travelling. She's not exactly grateful. He finds out that she is to be married to a man she doesn't like, so Captain Scarlet attempts to help her but winds up in prison for his efforts. He escapes and finally helps the reluctant bride who winds up joining Captain Scarlett and his sidekick and they become something along the lines of the three musketeers.

This overlooked, if not almost forgotten romantic melodrama from Director Juan Jose Ortega, features a South American-born beauty named Lenora Amar, (whom the Mexican press quickly dubbed "The Brazilian Beauty"), in the title role. Although her acting career was rather short-lived because she chose to end it when she was just 27 years of age, her Zorina co-star and then-husband, Luis Aldas, (starring as" Bardo" in this film), seem to still have made an impact on movie audiences due to some favorable news publicity and the relative success of the handful of films the pair made.
