The Gaither Homecoming family sings its way through Alaska's majestic landscape in this rare and beauitful Alaskan Cruise experience. In this musical journey, gospel music's finest voices gather for a concert on the ship's deck to celebrate and to worship the Creator of all this beauty. Your host, Bill Gaither, also gives you a glimpse into many of the off-stage moments during the cruise, as the Homecoming family shared meals, storytelling, laughter, and as always, singing!

In an historic first for Bill and Gloria Gaither and their Homecoming Friends, Jerusalem -- the Holy City of God -- plays host for a moving videotaped visit to the cradle of Christianity. The concert was staged in David's Citadel, part of the original city of Jerusalem, and one of the most unique and sacred venues in the world. The entire countryside where Jesus lived, walked and died is showcased with stirring performances at the Garden Tomb, the Southern Steps and the Jordan River.

The artists of the Billy Graham Crusades come together to sing the music and share incredible stories. George Beverly Shea, Cliff Barrows and Franklin Graham share unforgettable moments in the history of the ministry. Bill & Gloria Gaither, Michael W. Smith, CeCe Winans, Andrae' Crouch, Avalon and others lead the group in emotion-filled songs and testimonies of God's faithfulness.

Zak doesn't like Christmas. He doesn't have any friends (thanks to his speech impediment), and every year at the orphanage he works his fingers to the bone making toys for other kids. Nobody has ever given him a Christmas gift, so what is there to be joyful about? An adventure in Scraptown--a junkyard where people dump unwanted robots--leads Zak to find kindred spirits in a group of oddball bots with their own special quirks. While on the run from a wacky scientist bent on taking over the orphanage, Zak and his new friends learn a powerful lesson about how Christmas started with a baby named Jesus--who grew up to save the world. Inspired to embrace their true potential, Zak and the Wobots jump into action to save the holiday!

Your favorite Homecoming Friends gathered together in Fort Worth, for an exciting celebration in gospel music...Texas style. They filled the Tarrant County Convention Center and had people tappin' their toes, clappin' their hands, and kickin' up their heels. Everyone there celebrated the important contribution made by the great state of Texas to our gospel music roots and continuing heritage.

Like a spark that ignites the grasslands, revival seems to come from nowhere and spreads across the wastelands of the human heart; it buns away the hulls and stubble, and come spring, new life sprouts from the charred waste! Songs of revival are the most exciting of all. They have energy. They have power to move us to tears and make us shout for the sheer joy of being truly alive. The styles are varied in this wonderful show, but the quality always high, with renditions of familiar classics along with a few original songs, with some numbers that are truly thrilling, among them the opening song, a bluegrass flavored "It's a Time for Joy" with Karen Peck and New River, the Gaither Vocal Band with David Phelps doing an exquisite tenor solo on "The Christmas Song" (and Mark Lowry doing Johnny Mathis !), "Children Go Where I Send Thee" with The Bishops giving us harmonies from heaven, the country rockin' sound of "Go Tell" with The Martins, and best of all, "Mary, Did You Know ?" (music and lyrics by Mark Lowry and Buddy Green), sung by the Gaither Vocal Band featuring an emotionally stirring solo by Mark Lowry. The words, melody, and interpretation of this song fills my eyes with tears when I hear it...the disc is worth it for this number alone. -Alejandra Vernon
