Fed up with his quarreling middle class parents, thirteen-year-old Jonas runs away from home. He seeks his freedom in the woods, where he befriends a girl his own age and a drunken ex-pilot, who offers him some warmth and understanding.

Seven 12-year-olds fight against property speculators and local officials who intend to replace a treasured forest with a concrete building jungle.

Peter is a somewhat disheveled individual who has sublet his apartment for use as a massage clinic. He has a season ticket for the Danish State Railways and spends his time traveling by train. This gives him the opportunity to meet train stewardess Eva, whom he has known and been in love with since they were children. Unfortunately, Eva is married to his callous brother, who treats her increasingly brutally and has always been the evil spirit in Peter's life.

Old rockers, like soldiers, never die, they only pass away. Well, Erik Clausen turns nostalgia into a vivid tribute to the moods and manners of the 1950s Danish Rock'n Roll by picking up a group of dispersed fellow bandsmen from wherever life and fate have left them stranded to have them revive their group and relive the good old days. A spirit of social solidarity permeates throughout.
