After her boyfriend commits suicide, a young woman attempts to use the unpublished manuscript of a novel and a sum of money he left behind to reinvent her life.

An over-protective mother sends her seven-year-old daughter out to post a letter. Knocked off course, the girl wanders a drawn landscape of hanging objects until her mother's anxiety brings it to life. An animate! commission for Channel 4 and the Arts Council of England.
