When a young drug researcher is hired by a tobacco company, Victor DeNoble unexpectedly discovers the ingredients of addiction and fuels a national campaign to have it regulated.

A meditative reflection on the quiet absurdity of everyday life, exploring the fragile, fleeting connections that bind us within suburban spaces. Drifting through a series of surreal yet human moments, the film follows an ensemble of characters: two aging philosophers debating aliens from the depths of a kiddie pool, two pirates inexplicably destined for friendship, lovers attempting to reignite their spark through backyard karate, and a solitary dancer who dons a feline disguise to embrace his truest self.
