A working-class Punjabi woman battles the adverse conditions that farm laborers face, including an oppressive upper class and drug abuse.

Ik Kudi Punjab Di tells a richly textured tale from a keenly female perspective set against the backdrop of male-dominated Punjabi society. It does so with a Shakespearean credo of “all the world’s a stage” and a lively cast.

This story is based on a long forgotten folklore of Veera and her brother, adapted in today's time. It still has the essence of Guru Nanaks blessings to mankind.
