Through a new access to his family, rare archives and testimonies of contemporary artists and filmmakers from the entire world, the ilm retraces his life, his work and legacy. Ferruccio Castronuovo was the only authorized eye, between 1976 and 1986, to film the brilliant Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini (1920-1993) in his personal and creative intimacy, to capture the gears of his great circus, his fantastic lies and his crazy inventions.

Milo Manara revolutionized the comics imagination, liberating female desire through the protagonists of his comics. His career was marked by his encounter with Hugo Pratt, his mentor and companion, and by his exploration of the power of sex as a political act, culminating in the publication of Il gioco. His partnership with Federico Fellini redefined the boundaries between eroticism, cinema, and comics, and his unmistakable style made him a point of reference for entire generations.

Ultimo Fellini reveals the man behind the icon through three years of research, private archives, and previously unseen footage, beginning with the precious materials of Vincenzo Mollica.

The Orchestra and Chorus of the Petruzzelli Theater in Bari perform “The Labyrinth of Crete,” an opera for children written and directed by Nicola Piovani. Two clowns, Don Cosimo and Papèla, tell the story—loosely based on the exploits of Theseus—who, chosen to be sacrificed to the Minotaur, faces the monster with the help of Ariadne.

Il sangue e la parola (Blood and Words) “Not the sword but words illuminate the way” is a cantata by maestro Nicola Piovani with lyrics freely adapted from Aeschylus' The Eumenides. Performed by the orchestra and choir of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma with Andrea Pennacchi as narrator. The concert also includes performances of symphonic suites from La notte di San Lorenzo (The Night of San Lorenzo) and La vita è bella (Life is Beautiful).

To mark the tenth anniversary of the L'Aquila earthquake, Nicola Piovani will conduct *The Symphony of the Seasons* for soloists, children’s choir, narrator and orchestra from the Basilica of Santa Maria di Collemaggio.

Viva Zapatero! is a 2005 documentary by Sabina Guzzanti telling her side of the story regarding the conflict with Silvio Berlusconi over a late-night TV political satire show broadcast on RAI-3. The show, RAIot (a play on the name of the Italian state public TV: RAI, and the English word riot), lampooned prime minister Berlusconi. Since it wasn't considered a satirical show, but a political one, it was cancelled after the first episode.
