Timothy Richard "Tiff" Needell is a British former racing driver and television personality, best known for his time in Formula 1 and for co-presenting the popular car show Fifth Gear. Born on October 28, 1951, in the UK, Needell began his racing career in the early 1970s and competed in F1 during the 1980s, driving for teams like Osella and Toleman. While he didn't achieve significant success in F1, he gained recognition for his versatility and technical skills. After his racing career, Needell transitioned to television, where he became a familiar face in the motorsport world, offering insights into cars, racing, and automotive culture.
