When the happy little hippo, Mumbo Jumbo, accidentally turns giant his life changes for the worse - seemingly forever. A dying elderly scientist proposes love-sick Jonas a cure that will improve the youngster's physical skills and general sex-appeal. What the scientist really aims to accomplish is a body switch: he wants to survive in a young man's body and gladly leaves Jonas to wake up in his own wasted frame. Jonas must somehow signal his predicament to his friends. Both men rev up for a survival-of-the-fittest chase.

The whole family is going on a skiing holiday in Norway when Dad breaks his leg. So Uncle Erik takes the five oldest children. On the ferry, Amalie meets ski instructor Dan, and Uncle Erik gets very seasick. It turns out that Dad has rented a very small, leaky cabin, but Jan and Michael sort it out so they can move into a large suite. It turns out that it has been rented to Mrs. Flinth and her friends, and she causes a lot of trouble. The family is thrown out, but once again Jan and Michael fix the situation. They claim that Erik Lund is a famous singer. Erik is busy looking after Amalie, but when she discovers Dan's flirting with another girl, she gets the boys to help her. Meanwhile, Erik also finds time to go ice skating with Mrs. Flint.

In a festive fireworks display of French temptations, historical and piquant scenes are performed, and as always with the awareness that it's all about keeping your finger on the pulse.

Sara and Robert tentatively strike up a relationship, while a couple on the street, Sus and Bo (Ditte Grbl and Asger Reher), have their own marriage issues to deal with. In 1218 Danish king Valdemar sends his homonymous young son and heir in safety, as war is at the borders, to Erskil, the bishop of Ravensburg, who is instructed to see to the prince's education. Alas the bishop is the brain of a conspiracy to seize the crown for himself, as most of the nobles are dissatisfied with the endless wars that bring them no profit. The prince and kitchen-boy Aske accidentally fall out of the castle and overhear the conspirators, but are seen and pursued by the men of the One-eyed Man, a feared mercenary who is in the conspiracy to take mortal revenge on the king for leaving him behind on a battlefield where he lost an eye which was eaten by an eagle, which he tamed and now shares his sight with. The release marks yet another occasion on which the four actors Søren Pilmark, Niels Olsen, Asger Reher, and Henrik Koefoed have elevated bawdiness to a higher level. It contains a beautifully varied two-hour show with a brand new Western theme, featuring Niels Olsen in suspenders and fishnet stockings as General Custer, lodge sketches with the brotherhood, Fjærtoman, Asger Reher performing a spectacular stunt in alternative farts, and four-part singing from the four brothers, who totally knock the audience out with barely concealed bawdy innuendos.

Our old lodge brothers are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. This is being celebrated with the release of their eighth show! The show was recorded over two evenings in April and has now been edited down to just under two hours of fantastic (sultry) entertainment. The show covers a wide range of topics, and this year we meet the Little Mermaid, the Egtved Girl, the Grovbollemanden, and H.C. Andersen. The show also offers a reunion with Olsen, Meyer, Emma, and pet shop owner Clausen from Huset På Christianshavn itself. In addition, we will see old acquaintances such as Fjertomanen, and we will attend the funeral of Dorthe and Grethe at Gyllegården...

As summer arrived in Denmark, Ørkenens Sønner took to the stage at Bellevue Teatret on Thursday, June 5, in front of an excited premiere audience. The nerves that had built up among the four desert sons leading up to the premiere quickly proved to be totally unnecessary—the premiere was a resounding success, and praise from both the audience and critics rained down on Ørkenens Sønner.

The fifth stage show from Ørkenens Sønner from their 2007 tour "En sang fra de varme lande" - this show is set in the African jungle.
