Besides dealing with the Black gang, Morrell has to find another robber, Jim Moore, who switches clothes with him after he finds Chris unconscious from a fight with Sam Black. Along the way, he meets a lady who's the sister of Jim Moore, another bad hombre who's in cahoots with Jim Moore, and an old friend who takes in Nina and helps Chris locate Nina's father and fight off the various desperadoes

Sheriff John Higgins quits and goes into prospecting after he thinks he has killed his best friend in shooting it out with robbers. He encounters his dead buddy's sister and helps her run her ranch. Then she finds out about his past.

One of the men in the train plots with some Indians to attack the caravan and steal the family's wealth. In order to isolate their wagon, the villain has one of his men pose as a small pox victim so that the wagon train will leave them behind. After they fight with the Indians and the band of outlaws, the girl and her family are saved by the leader of the wagon train.

A blowhard cowboy talks himself into a job as a movie stunt man.

Mortimer builds a fence for the cattle brought by Ken Morley. To retaliate, Slater who wants access to the land, builds a dam cutting off Mortimer's water supply. After Bill Davis rescues a Native American woman from outlaw Jim Slade, he is lost in the desert, where his horse dies from thirst. When Slade plots to take over the mine, Dad Randall kills one of outlaw's men, then dies of an injury. Bill accepts the blame and Nita turns against him. She later forgives and falls in love with Bill after he defeats Slade.

Invited to the hotel of millionaire mine owner Andrew Gordon, Bill becomes interested in his daughter, Cleo, but is told that the man who aspires to be her husband must possess wealth. That night Bill overhears a plot to take over a strip of land between Gordon's mine and that of his enemy Tom Middleton; Bill and Charlie set out to stake their claim, and after subduing "Fraction" Jack, they register the claim. Bill persuades Gordon to buy out his claim and saves Charlie from claim jumpers.
