The Graz chief investigator Sascha Bergmann and his colleague Eva Merz from the Spusi try to combine the official with the romantic, but unfortunately a routine case in the tranquil East Styrian hill country unexpectedly degenerates into work: What initially looks like the suicide of a drunk turns out to be poorly disguised murder! This in turn calls Bergmann's partner Sandra Mohr onto the scene, who puts herself in danger in her investigative zeal.

Mao inherits her uncle Waberl’s – a former icon of Sex, Drugs and Rock’n’Roll – hotel on the countryside. With the help of her friends Max (a wannabe entertainer with brilliant concepts but lacking structure) and Jerry (a skilled Guitarrero but less skilled chef) they try to put together a hotel band to save Rock’n’Roll as well as their bankrupt hotel.

KOTSCH tells the story of four friends called Alf (Christoph Theußl), Boris (Andreas Kiendl), Chris (Michael Ostrowski) and Dalli (Michael Fuith), who grew up together in the small town Fohnsdorf in Styria.

Three loser-type ex-students who earn too little money and don´t get laid as much as they want, try to change that by producing a home made porn movie starring themselves. They loan money from a pimp and begin casting the girls. When filming starts they find out that sex in front of the camera is hard work. Also you should know how to work a video camera. Frustration, relationship problems and cabin fever culminate in a dope induced garden orgy. But is it a film?

After a stroke of fate, star lawyer Mark Degen completely turns his life around. The workaholic, who only took on lucrative cases, becomes a courageous lawyer with social commitment. When his daughter, public prosecutor Ricarda, loses her first case against a corrupt hospital doctor in which the key witness and evidence have obviously been tampered with, Mark suddenly finds himself in a new line of work: as a "detective against his will", he embarks on a search for clues to help Ricarda. The investigation not only brings movement to the deadlocked criminal case, but also to the difficult relationship between father and daughter.
