From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jens Lien (born 14 September 1967) is a Norwegian film director. He graduated from the London International Film School in 1993. His graduation project was the short film "Montana", that was featured at the short film festival in Grimstad that year. in 1995 he again participated in this festival, with the entry "Mitt elektriske kjøkken" (My Electrical Kitchen). Lien went on to make the short films "Døren som ikke smakk" (Shut the Door, 2000) og "Naturlige Briller" (Natural Glasses, 2001). 7.1Forty-year-old Andreas arrives in a strange city with no memory of how he got there. He is presented with a job, an apartment - even a wife. But before long, Andreas notices that something is wrong. Andreas makes an attempt to escape the city, but he discovers there's no way out. Andreas meets Hugo, who has found a crack in a wall in his cellar. Beautiful music streams out from the crack. Maybe it leads to "the other side"? A new plan for escape is hatched.

He's then absorbed into a government system under which people without work are assigned mandatory tasks to prevent them from becoming too passive.
