Betty Schuurman (born October 31, 1962, in Edam, Netherlands) is a Dutch actress known for her work in film, television, and theatre. She has appeared in more than forty films since the early 1990s, including Character (1997), which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Since 2009, she has been a regular member of the Dutch National Theatre, while continuing to work in television series and feature films.
