A Silver Bear award winning short feature about a man's head - "a sort of mutilated Teiresia" - from the depths of time who knows the past and predicts the future. Having a gift of ubiquity which allows him to save the skin of a young soldier fleeing opposing troops

Michael is supposed to go to prison for 18 months, but escapes from the police officer. On the run, he meets Malika, who has also committed "stupid things." Together, they flee from the "third eye" of her mother, who, according to Malika, can see into the distance.
