Le Tribunal des flagrants délires was a comedy show where celebrities were judged in mock-trials. Desproges held the part of the prosecutor for more than two years, a part for which his verve, his scathing humour and his literary erudition were ideally suited.

This variety show, with its new concept, is presented as a musical comedy. Having formed an orchestra, a group of young people perform in the courtyards of an old Parisian neighborhood, hoping to earn some money. But no one listens to them. All the tenants of the building are glued to their television sets. Only one mysterious man takes an interest in the group and offers them a box of magic matches.

Ghérasim Luca, a French author of Romanian origin, has left his mark on the field of French-language sound poetry. Raoul Sangla films the poet and his texts in a televised recital that is akin to a performance.

In a small village, unexplained phenomena occur. After the passage of Jesus, a blind man recovers his sight and a little girl comes back to life. Faced with these misunderstandings, the Grand Inquisitor wishes to have Jesus arrested, convinced that his presence disturbs the order of the world. A face-to-face confrontation between the two men of God looms.
