Berlin, post-Corona. Anton is getting his life off the ground: apprenticeship, his own place with his girlfriend, no drugs, nothing dodgy. But then Anton gets a “yellow letter” in which he’s accused of a serious breach of the peace and resisting arrest. It all happened two years ago and the images come flooding back: the 1st May demo, his arrest. Anton has to get reinvolved in the life he was hoping to put behind him. However, she is eventually confronted by her mother’s hoarding problem — a situation her father is unfortunately no help with. Her balancing act between jobs as a mobile nail technician and a freelance theater makeup artist begins to falter. To top it all off, she falls for the flamboyant star of the current theater production: Philip, a charming but somewhat flighty dancer. Fortunately, Maya is surrounded by a group of clever, humorous women from diverse backgrounds who support her with wit and wisdom — for only by looking back can one find the tailwind needed to take flight.
