In 1968, art students Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey “Po” Powell made a trippy photo collage for their musician friends Syd, David and Roger. The resulting album and album cover, A Saucerful of Secrets, helped launch two careers: that of Pink Floyd, one of the 70s megabands, and of Hipgnosis, which, over the course of the next 25 years, designed a stream of iconic album covers.

Wish You Were Here, released in September 1975, was the follow up album to the globally successful The Dark Side Of The Moon and is cited by many fans, as well as band members Richard Wright and David Gilmour, as their favorite Pink Floyd album. On release it went straight to Number One in both the UK and the US and topped the charts in many other countries around the world. This program tells the story of the making of this landmark release through new interviews with Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Nick Mason and archive interviews with the late Richard Wright. Also featured are sleeve designer Storm Thorgerson, guest vocalist Roy Harper, front cover burning man Ronnie Rondell and others involved in the creation of the album. In addition, original recording engineer Brian Humphries revisits the master tapes at Abbey Road Studios to illustrate aspects of the songs construction.

The Later Years is a box set by British rock band Pink Floyd released on 13 December 2019 by Pink Floyd Records. It follows the 2016 boxset The Early Years 1965–1972, and compiles Pink Floyd's work under the leadership of David Gilmour after the departure of founding member Roger Waters.

On the 30th June 1990 in the grounds of Knebworth House a concert was staged to raise funds for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and the Brit School For Performing Arts. It has since been heralded as the "best British rock concert of all time". The breathtaking performing line-up was drawn entirely from acts who had been recipients of the prestigious Sliver Clef Award presented annually by Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy for outstanding services to the British Music Industry. All the artists gave their time and performances for free in order to support the charity and this 20th Anniversary deluxe edition will continue to raise funds so that they can continue their invaluable work. For the SD Blu-ray release the footage has been newly restored and has audio in DTS-HD Master Audio and LPCM Stereo to present this legendary concert in the best possible sound and picture quality.

Documentary broadcast by the BBC on 15 November 1994, produced at the time of "The Division Bell" tour. Although Roger Waters declined to grant an interview in this programme, the post-Waters era is only briefly mentioned (during the last 2 minutes). The rest is focused on the band's history with Waters. The documentary not only features interviews with all three members of Pink Floyd at the time, but also includes interesting interviews with several people closely related to the band: Andrew King, Joe Boyd, Mike Leonard, Storm Thorgerson, Ron Geesin, Clare Torry , Douglas Adams, and others. It also contains rare archive footage, such as extracts from 1968's "Tomorrow's World" programme and a very original film showing the band recording for the song "Marooned" in David Gilmour's studio-boat, the Astoria, with Bob Ezrin playing bass in this session.

Concert video taken from the A Momentary Lapse of Reason tour. It was largely filmed during the concerts running from August 19, 1988 through August 23, 1988 at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, with some additional footage from June 21, 1988 and June 22, 1988 at the Place d'Armes of the Château de Versailles, Versailles, France (used to provide the performance of "The Great Gig in the Sky").

Live Aid was held on 13 July 1985, simultaneously in Wembley Stadium in London, England, and the John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, United States. It was one of the largest scale satellite link-ups and television broadcasts of all time: watched live by an estimated global audience of 1.9 billion, across 150 nations. The RTB Films, 18 and 19 Feb 1968: Astronomy Domine - Scarecrow - Corporal Clegg - Paintbox - Set The Controls - See Emily Play - Bike - Apples & Oranges. David Gilmour made his film debut with Pink Floyd by recording this series of promotional clips for Belgian TV. Four of the films were shot at RTB TV studios and the remainder in and around Parc de Laeken on the 18th & 19th of February. "Apple & Oranges" was broadcast on the RTB pop music program Vibrato on 27 February. The remaining films, including a photo montage set to "Bike", were shown consecutively as part of the Tienerklanken pop music show broadcast on BRT TV on 31 March. Kastival Open Air Festival 31 August 1968 Astronomy Domine Pink Floyd performed in the afternoon on the 1st day of this 3-day festival. The event was filmed by BRT TV and highlights were shown on the Tienerklanken pop music show broadcast on 8 October in a featured segment called "Kastival '68".
