The audience often has to ask them to stop, and financially things are not going well either, so they have to flee from their hotel bills. In a provincial town, Professor Andersen has just died, and when the two actors arrive in town at the same time, they are mistaken for the professor and his assistant and are given accommodation at one of the town's hotels as guests of honor. Then events take a turn for the worse. A bank director, a lawyer, and a contractor are very eager to see the late professor's invention continued, as the formula was lost when the professor died. Who will win in the end? The suspicious businessmen, the two actors, or two young people who love each other? And how many times will bank assistant Johansen lose his job?

A group of young people want to change society, so they cut off the head of a statue of Christian IV. The head is hidden in the archives of Director Lund, where Anna has just been hired. In another attempt, the gang has to coordinate breaking through several walls at The Royal Theater in Copenhagen with the "Elverhøj" overture.

Three young men discover a scam that three somewhat older gentlemen from Aarhus' upper class have set up to avoid bankruptcy. The gentlemen directors have both accounts and safe deposit boxes at the bank branch where one of the young men works, so it seems only natural to give the swindlers a taste of their own medicine, so to speak. The situation is further complicated when a journalist gets wind of the double heist and wants his share of the pie.

In a large office building, a mysterious murder is committed, after which the body disappears. Lily Hansen, the building's helpful and talkative cleaning lady, is driving the detective investigating the case crazy with her interference. Of course, the mystery can only be solved with her help.

The young fisherman Kurt Vinderup returns home to the small fishing village of his childhood after completing his military service in the Royal Danish Navy. On the quay, he meets a young girl named Bitten. He and Bitten had been in the early stages of a relationship before he left for the capital. But in his absence, she has become engaged to his brother Jacob Vinderup.

A sort of forerunner to Hollywood's Boogie Nights (1997), this Danish melodrama is set in the world of strip clubs. A medical student (Frits Helmuth) earns money for tuition working in a burlesque joint. He falls for one of the girls (Malene Schwarz), but she is also involved with a movie director (John Price). The director and Helmuth get into a philosophical debate about love and Darwinism, and the film ends with a duel (the film's title). Duellen was met with mostly incomprehension when it premiered and is no more lucid when viewed today. The striptease scene featuring full-frontal nudity is tame by modern standards.

Thomas is newly divorced and is borrowing Bibi & Asger's apartment. He goes to the doctor because he is feeling unwell and is given some pills. At home, he gets drunk and is visited by his upstairs neighbor. At the same time, Thomas is being stalked by an unknown man on the phone. When Thomas meets Evy, he thinks they are going to have a nice evening, but she has other guests as well. After a night out on the town where Thomas gets drunk, he seeks out his divorced wife and begs her to come back.

Mrs. Jonsen discovered after her husband's death, that he was not at all a paragon, she thought. Her sister and some diary notes reveal him as a man with numerous amourous adventures.

Adultery and a taste for the sweet life are the themes of the operetta Die Fledermaus. The wealthy rentier von Eisenstein sneaks off to a ball hosted by Russian Prince Orlofsky in the vain hope that his libertine manners will bring him closer to the beautiful women in attendance. His wife Rosalinde is similarly on shaky ground. She is having a secret affair with the singing teacher Alfred, who is mistaken for the cuckold and taken away to serve von Eisenstein's prison sentence.

A U.S. lawman busts Copenhagen counterfeiters to help his sister, falsely accused of murder.

The Royal privileged ferry inn in Hørby is owned and operated by the two good friends Erik Hansen and Lars Tofte. In addition to the inn they own the small ferry, which keeps them in touch with the mainland.

After a gruesome meeting with the tax authorities Alex Alexander takes a drive in the countryside to calm down. While driving, he accidentally runs into an elephant from a circus. When he is stopped by the police and tells them about the elephant they think he is crazy. He is committed to an asylum by the very authorities his taxes are funding. The doctor tries to convince him that the elephants were not really there, but he gets more help from manic fellow patient Knudsen who makes him realize that everybody in the world is crazy in some way.

Sales manager Lund sees an opportunity to become deputy director at the baby equipment company where he works. Unfortunately, he has neither a wife nor a baby. These are qualifications that both his boss and a rival colleague consider essential. Lund therefore pretends that he has been married for a long time. However, this little white lie has unforeseeable consequences when his boss invites Lund and his wife to dinner. Lund has to find a wife to borrow, and the complications unfold at a furious pace.

Kjeld Petersen plays a merchant who has stolen his clothes when he is out take a dip in the Sound. He stopped by the police, and they find a call to military service in his pocket, after further complications lands him at the barracks, where he came under the loving care of 66 (Dirch compatible) and 65 (Ove Sprogø). So the stage is set for lots of fun and games, in the right old style.

It all happens over two days and—naturally—and in particular—two nights. A perfectly ordinary girl gets herself into a lot of trouble because of her slightly too big heart, which exposes her to trials and temptations she cannot overcome without the help of little white lies and pretence. She manages to overcome almost all obstacles, but loses her heart.

It all begins innocently enough on a summer Sunday morning, with the sun shining from a cloudless sky. Mrs. Hald sends her two young twenty-year-old daughters on a cycling and swimming trip to North Zealand. Mr. Hartsen, a district court attorney who, incidentally, is married to a very jealous and combative wife, is taking his newly acquired Chevrolet for a long drive. When the two girls have everything stolen from them while swimming in the sea, they stop the first motorist they meet—and unfortunately, this happens to be our friend, district court attorney Hartsen.

A film director sends his director and two screenwriters out into the city to find out what a film should contain in order for the person in question to want to see it. This results in many different episodes. The film includes the famous scene where Dirch Passer and Kjeld Petersen wallpaper a room.

In the early 1940s, there were a couple of guys who traveled around the country from market to market with their tent. It contained only one thing: a boxing ring. The big, strong boxer challenged the local farmhands to a quick three-round boxing match and promised a large cash reward to anyone who could knock him out.

The good people of a small community in the countryside near Copenhagen enjoy life and find their way to love.

Søren Holm becomes a pastor in the small town of Harslev. The parish council chairwoman, Mrs. Andersen, interferes in the pastor's family's private life, and when Søren plays in a soccer game to get to know the town's young men, Mrs. Andersen becomes furious. Half of the parish turns its back on Søren. But Søren does good work for the young people, and gradually, with the help of the parish clerk, he is accepted by both the parish council and the town's youth.

A just-fired chorus girl gets a ride from a rich shipowner's driver. By the time the gossip reaches the cash-strapped theater director, she's engaged to the shipowner. The girl gets promoted to the lead. Other misunderstandings follow.

A beauty contest, in which the young Jonna, who works as a sales assistant in a dress shop, participates almost by chance, results in her being suddenly swept into the world of film and show business, because a film producer in attendance finds her type interesting and wants to try to launch her as a new name.

On the 9th of April 1940, the crew of a Danish merchant ship receives the news of Germany's invasion of Denmark. Instead of returning home, they vote in favor of setting course for England. The crew will undergo much hardship over the next five years ...

Soya's satirist take on variations of Danes, who willingly or unwillingly came to deal with German troops during the five year Second World War occupation.

It's not always easy being a father – archivist Jørgensen knows this all too well. His only son, Bent, is more interested in the band he and his friends have formed than in his studies. The story is built around the "Charles' Aunt" theme and is wonderfully festive. In a large villa in Ordrup live manufacturer Nelsøe, his wife and their young daughter Else. Else has been let down by her sweetheart, so Else is in crisis. So mother and father hire a young girl of the same age in the house "with a family position" to get Else in a better mood. The girl who moves in is a priest's daughter from Mols and the two girls quickly become good friends. But suddenly it turns out that Grethe from Mols has some very cool friends...

Detective Peter Smeth and his young and charming wife, Louise, visit Magasin Heiberg, where, at his wife's express request, he is to buy himself a new hat. He is not amused by the idea, but there is no getting out of it. Suddenly, however, an event occurs that causes the couple to change their minds. The daughter of the store's owner, Inge Heiberg, is found unconscious in the store's courtyard, and Peter and Louise rush to her aid. The fainting spell turns out to be shrouded in mystery.

The young Ms. Holm gets the job as private secretary to Director Berg and it quickly becomes clear that she is unusually active and enterprising. Ms. Kirkemus, as Berg has named her, brings life to the entire office and a business trip to Stockholm, where half the staff participates, becomes no less festive thanks to her. But Ms. Kirkemus has fallen in love with her director and it doesn't really suit her that Berg is meeting another girl in Stockholm and then the antics get even more intense...
