This is the story of the shy Mongol boy Temujin who,during the 13th century, becomes the fearless Mongol leader Genghis Khan that unites all Mongol tribes and conquers India,China,Persia,Korea and parts of Rusia,Europe and Middle-East.

In the 1970s, the Munich Group set about revolutionizing German film with low budgets and an excess of creativity. The Bungalow bar next to the Türkendolch theater was their meeting place, who were inspired by the French New Wave and New Hollywood. Munich Group star Iris Berben takes us on a journey back through time, a wild trip full of film clips and interviews with major figures of an unforgettable era.

Prospective hotel owner Carlos is having problems with the completion of his hotel on the Adriatic. He quickly asks his niece Vivi in Germany to cancel the bookings he has made so far. Unfortunately, his telegram reaches her too late and a motley group of guests arrives. They promptly pitch tents in the garden of the half-finished building.

As Africa is a little too far, they drive to a nearby trout pond in their rickety Volkswagen. But their excursion turns out to be a failure, so they return to the city to watch Hawks' masterpiece once again.
