Blind Mimi and Lisa are best friends. They learn from each other to approach the world and its diversity with generosity, tolerance, and openness. In a new story, titled The Garden, a yellow container is installed in the yard of their house which their neighbours soon start filling with old and broken things. Lisa is curious what Mimi would be getting rid of and is surprised to see she doesn´t throw away anything. For Mimi, all old things at home are her anchors and little certainties in the dark. Lisa decides to throw away her old red ball. But it falls behind the container and thanks to it the girls discover a secret door leading to the beautiful Garden of the miraculous Magic Maker, who takes them on a quick trip through all the seasons.

The Horváth family is a Romani family with seven children, and the story begins with the tragic death of the father. His wife, Vera, is suddenly in a fight with the authorities, determined to keep her large family together at all costs, but she is hopelessly ill-prepared for the task. They are evicted from their home and her case-Vera versus the city-finds its way to a young, ambitious lawyer. She doesn't know the world of the Romani, nor is she particularly interested in it. Initially she takes the case as a springboard for her career. Despite her prejudices, incomprehension and sometimes Vera herself, she doesn't abandon the case. Luckily she is not the only one who sides with the family. There is a social worker whose attempts to help the Horváths are also motivated by his entirely private interest in the attractive lawyer.

More than a year has passed since the last time we saw Julio Lavický (Jakub Stáfek) (yes, it was when he "sold" the match, but forgot about it and scored a beautiful goal). Lavi is, as his agent would say Jarda (Jakub Prachar), still the same demented person, but he finally started to do well. Both in football and in his personal life. With Vysehrad, he advanced to the second league, where he leads the scorers' table, once again wealthier clubs are eyeing him, he even asked for the hand of his girlfriend Lucia (Sárka Vaculíková), Jarda's sister... At the wedding, which cost a fortune, but he discovers that he already has an eight-year-old son, which will definitely not please the newlywed. not to lose his wife on his wedding day, to take care of his child, which is a long way from him, to get from Vysehrad to somewhere higher, or to fight with the practices of a certain football Dad... It's just rushing like an avalanche again - from one problem to another second.

Serving a miserly farmer would be unbearable if Janos didn't have such a pretty and sweet daughter. He had fallen in love with her, and she would have wanted him for a husband, but her father was planning a rich groom for her. It was a good thing that Janos had such a faithful and clever friend, who helped him to marry Esther with a good idea.

These are the words the filmmakers use in the credits to describe their project, which thematises the execution of more than 260 Carpathian Germans, Hungarians and Slovaks by Czechoslovak army soldiers near Přerov in June 1945. The main character, a forty-year-old doctor, tries to cope with situations that life throws at her as a successful dentist, but a less successful mother, lover, and ex-wife. The heroine's relationship with her daughter, lover, mother, and ex-husband is portrayed very convincingly and without the slightest idealization, reflecting the ambiguity and controversy of the contemporary female condition. Although the author accumulates in his novel and television script almost all the paradoxes of today's self-employed woman in the heroine, nevertheless (or precisely because of this) her story reflects the experience of most contemporary women. Especially those who place high demands on themselves and others, which, however, can rarely be met one hundred percent. And if it turns out that we owe the greatest debt to our own daughter, then it is no surprise that everything starts to change completely...

Lavi’s long-awaited foreign engagement in the Vyšehrad sequel ends in fiasco when his flight to England fails; he unexpectedly lands at the rural FK Smrkov, where a series of surprises, including a revelation discovered during an unplanned stop at an outhouse, await him.

Children join folklore groups at an early age, but their relationship to them is formed only gradually, there are more than enough external stimuli that affect them. However, the prospect of performing abroad changes their relationship to folk songs and dances and disrupts their previously strong friendships. Although the film deals with child protagonists and is also aimed at a child audience, it can undoubtedly appeal to adults as well, as it tackles issues affecting parents.

The subject of this film, which takes an analytical look at the life of all of us with an analytical eye, is the evil microbe that has slowly infiltrated the organism of the Czech nation. Through the intertwining fates of three couples, it evokes domestic life before November 1989, burdened by a suffocating atmosphere of unfreedom, and after November, when relatively nothing has changed because people have not changed. The bleak conclusion suggests that the plague epidemic is still ongoing.
