Homecoming is a 15-minute psychological action-horror short following German officer Irene Halvic, who is dispatched to locate a missing soldier known only as Honey Badger. His last transmission was received three weeks earlier, somewhere deep in the wilderness. Guided remotely by drone operator Rick, Irene begins what appears to be a routine retrieval mission. But when the drone's systems fail, she is left to navigate the landscape alone. As scattered traces replace clear answers, the search gradually transforms into an unsettling descent into the unknown. What Irene uncovers behind Honey Badger's disappearance forces her to confront a reality far beyond the scope of her mission. Blurring the boundaries between survival, memory, and violence, Homecoming examines how greed gives rise to trauma, and how the psychological scars of war continue to shape those who survive it.
