An absurd tale of self-destruction and unexpected connection. Devastated after losing his wallet to a sewer grate and suffering an unsympathetic chess defeat to his best friend Rodchenko, Oingo responds the only way he knows how: getting really drunk and attempting to carve a new chess set out of marble. When he invites a date back to his apartment—a chaotic sanctuary of found objects and wall-to-wall drawings—she sees something in him that makes her want to stay, despite every reason not to.
