Two exes, one car, and a long drive up the California coast to a wedding neither of them wants to be at. Elsie needed a ride and Matt was the only one who picked up the phone. Somewhere between the breakfast burritos and the old arguments, they start circling the question of whether the timing was ever going to work.

Would you want to see how it ends before it begins? In the near future, a startup offers couples a look at a single moment from their life together, and newly engaged John and Emma decide to take it. What they see is harder than they hoped, and now they have to choose whether to step into that future anyway.
