NRSalmah's marriage to Suhaimi is not approved by her family, who consider him beneath their status. Upon returning to his homeland, Hadi becomes a wayward son, far removed from religious teachings, until he finds out too late about Salmah's illness caused by cancer. Hadi's biological father, who is in Doha, desperately wants to get to know Hadi even though Hadi seems cold towards him.
