Karnaa Radha

Arumugham is an uneducated, good hearted, helpful village hick. Easwari is his childhood friend. A chemical factory in the village pollutes the local river and when all attempts to stop the factory waste from going to the drinking water falls flat, the villagers decide to send Arumugham to Chennai and meet the concerned minister who has won from their constituency. He sets out for the city with Easwari and her grandmother and they stay with Arumugham's friend and gang.

The story, set in the backdrop of Nallore, a small town in Thoothukudi District, revolves around Sub-Inspector Durai Singam, a brave and just policeman who serves in his hometown primarily to fulfill his father’s wish. Durai Singam settles every dispute in his town patiently with his words of wisdom and resorts to force only when the situation demands it. Kavya, a city girl who comes on vacation to Nallore, falls in love with Durai Singam. Erimalai, Durai Singam's bumbling colleague and friend, often accompanies him.

Eashwaran, a man from a small village, moves to his brother's house in Chennai with his ailing father. However, his life turns upside down when his brother incurs the wrath of a local thug.

Sakthivel hates his stepbrother Thangarasu because he thinks that his stepmother killed his father. However, his family members apart from his mother and his son are fond of Thangarasu.

A forgetful young man falls in love with a girl whose father hates his condition.
