A teenager's attempt to hold on to his mother ends in tragedy—now their relationship feels more like a death sentence than love. This is a story about blindness that begins long before darkness, and about trying to find a way to "move on," even when it seems there's no "move on."

Ten-year-old Tyoma befriends a fallen meteorite that wanders the streets, wreaking havoc on the locals. Only Tyoma knows the true reason for this behavior—the meteorite is searching for its fragments. Trying to save his friend from destruction, he must convince his father to believe in miracles.
