After many setbacks, Mr. Prudenciano, in Mexico, came to the conclusion that he had no great future as a bullfighter. He sold what little he had and, along with his wife, settled in Seville. Things didn’t go much better for him in Spain either, although at least he can spend all day doing what he likes best: doing nothing.

A nun reevaluates her life and decides to give up her vows to marry and help her father.

The dream of Atenodoro is to be a professor at the Faculty of Law. The students show enthusiasm for Ana, the professor’s daughter. Atenodoro resigns from his class, and the students try to make him return by pretending to be the rector and his family.
