Joash Rushton

After five years of marriage, Mia and Oliver want a child - and the wanting is starting to cause a fracture. But as Mia reaches for motherhood, she realizes she isn’t only trying to become a mother - she’s trying to rewrite the acts of her own. Me&You is a short film about infertility, marriage, and the ways our childhood pains echo forward.

As his circus fades and his donkey nears her death, Johan the clown spends an evening with a theatre owner confronting a life without a witness, and asking where the stars go when they die.
