It is morning, April 10, 2010. A nice, calm, spring day is coming. Millions of Polish families are still asleep when, in dozens of houses and apartments, nearly a hundred people are getting ready to travel by the safest means of transportation - the presidential plane. The destination: Smolensk. However, as the day draws to a close, unimaginable sadness and pain will invade these dozens of homes and apartments. Feelings that will be shared by the entire nation.

A story of some love. Is love and life always dependent on chance? Or perhaps from destiny? The problem of the loneliness of the individual among people and the low sensitivity of society towards the underprivileged by fate.

The Polish artist Julia and her husband Piotr, a talented and successful composer, live in Kraków. When Julias's mother, Barbara falls ill with stomach cancer, the life of the family is falling apart. Julia accompanies her mother to death, but her husband Piotr is at rehearsals in Cologne and leaves her to cope with this difficult situation. Only her friend Adrian is at her side. Her father Jurek is also overwhelmed by the impending loss of his beloved wife. After the death of the mother her father takes comfort from alcohol. Shortly after the father dies. Julia found only in the arms of Adrian to rest, but this in turn destroyed her marriage to Piotr. After the loss of the parents and break up of the marriage she is now alone in the world with an uncertain future where Adrian is of little help

The film tells about mainly three people - Max, a bored, smart, poor University Professor of Philosophy; Ramzes, a mafia leader, cool, strong, merciless bully and Stella, Ramzes girlfriend.

The story of two very close lesbian friends: Małgosia and Mariola. One day, Małgosia learns that she is terminally ill. Together with her friend, she goes to a sanctuary famous for miracles. Along the way, they see the figures of the seven deadly sins and a number of characters from the New and Old Testaments. As the plot unfolds, the viewer learns that the whole journey is not real, but takes place only in the imagination, the inner space of the characters.

This bird, an object of worship and envy, fuels a spiral of crime and gruesomeness in the town.

Military doctor Kwiatkowski, serving in a barracks hospital on the Western Territories, is rewarded with a week’s leave after successfully operating on Colonel Kiziora of the UB. On the platform, however, he meets people who are going to Katowice, from where the fastest train to Warsaw leaves. On the train, Jacek meets miners who are going to Warsaw to protest. He accidentally gets soiled with coal, which causes airport security to take him for one of the protesting miners who want to plant a bomb on the plane. Jacek runs onto the runway, but on the stairs to the plane is hit by anti-terrorists trying to prevent the alleged bombing.
