A story that takes place during Advent, we'll meet again with your favorite pair angel Petronel and devil Urias. Their eternal wrangling causes the rare apple from the tree of the knowledge to roll on earth. And that God is really angry. Petronel with Urias find themselves in a small Czech town on the eve of the feast of St. Nicholas. And after a series of human and "divine" tests our heroes eventually find that the path to knowledge leads primarily through self discovery through the strength of friendship, love and forgiveness skills.

Sarcastic comedy about the Czechoslovakia of the seventies. A young gynaecologist can't figure out whether to get serious with a young nurse or to stay casual with his married lover. Things get complicated when both women don't want to play his game anymore.

Matej and Jenda, two of the eight children of the poor Pelc family in the Giant Mountains, help in a glass works where the oldest brother Francek works. They hide into a tub not to be seen by supervisors checking on the ban of children labor. They miss the Epiphany carol (songs and treats door-to-door) and all neighbor village boys again on them in all the neighbor houses. On their way home they are passed by a fast moving big man with a large backpack. The boys send the customs officers, who are pursuing the strange man, to the opposite direction. The man then thanks them and rewards them the next day. Based on fairy-tales and legends the boys think the man is Krakonos (the giant living and ruling in the Giant Mountains).

The car thief Halama, the shy groom Poupě, the divorcing jealous Pic and the mustachioed cinema projectionist Vlk are suspected of robbing the cinema box office. They are so similar, however, that the sharp-witted Public Security investigator Doll doesn't know them at all...

For the Novák and Bartáček families, money is king, and they'll do just about anything to get it. While René Novák pitches his parents a lucrative scheme to swindle as many people with the last name Novák in the country as possible, the Bartáček clan decides to pretend to be much poorer than they really are in order to siphon some dollars from an American relative. And it doesn't take long before these separate scams start to intertwine.

This comedy is about one average family. The father works as master in the factory and his son is studying on high school. One day father must start to visit the evening school. It's the same school as his son visiting. The lives both students are connecting together. The son must teach the math and physics his own father. The father getting to know, that the life of the students is not simple as he supposed.

This documentary by director Štěpán Kačírek offers a glimpse into the life of poet, playwright, illustrator, photographer, and, paradoxically, communist and jazz musician Josef Kainar. Despite his artistic versatility, poetry remains the focus of his life's work. Among his best-known collections are Stories and Minor Poems, New Myths, Fates, and Rhymes. Vladimír Mišík, Michal Prokop, Petr Skoumal, Jiří Brabec, Gábina Osvaldová, and others recall the poet, who constantly suffered from a lack of money, love, and happiness.

The film was based on the novel "Milión" by Karel Štorkán. The book and the film depict the events surrounding the great construction disaster in Prague in 1928, in which 46 construction workers died. The disaster thrilled the entire republic at the time, yet was never fully explained. The filmmakers focus on the story of Ing. Vondrák, the designer of the construction.

A petrol pump is run by a permanent team: the manager Vávra, a former civil engineer ing. Stejskal, a smug crook named Karafa, and an old man, Dvořák, who is about to retire. They have a well-developed system that allows them to divert part of the profits into their own pockets. The only one who wants nothing to do with the crooked business is old Dvorak, who one day will find another job. Into this situation comes a young man, Zdeněk Černý, as a new employee. He's inquisitive and works quickly. He also understands the profit-sharing system. He soon inspires confidence in Vávra and the others, but soon starts to assert his right to an equal share of the profits...

Elementary school student Jožka has a great love – horses. He is looking forward to turning this love into a profession. However, he is atoning for his father's criminal activities, he is not accepted into his dream school focused on horse breeding due to a bad report and has to be content with learning to be a tractor driver. However, he continues to do his best for horses, he trains the racehorse Palisander, who has never won. His outsider fate is similar to his. However, Jožka wins everything there is to win despite various ups and downs – he stands up to bullying in the youth home, an arrogant tutor, human weaklings, manages to study well even at a school that he doesn't enjoy and does sports. He also gains the respect of his classmates. Real jockeys also star in the film. It also features the birth and death of a horse. The scene where Jožka's father saves a horse from a burning truck is dramatic. The scenes with carrier pigeons are touching.

A king seeks the help of a charming band of animals to find an enchanted stone before a magician can use it to freeze the entire world.

Even the best of friends can fall apart, often all it takes is a minor misunderstanding. That's exactly what happened to two village friends, children finishing elementary school, between whom hostility and suspicion suddenly set in. The mosaic-like plot contains a number of humorous observations, but overall it distances itself from any ambition to deeply affect the mentality of adolescents, much less the countryside.

Documentary filmmaker Paul Krewer follows his friend Thomas Ritter in the Peace Race, aiming to capture a winner’s story. When Ritter crashes and falls back, Krewer shifts focus to underdog Steve Baxter’s grit and teammate Falck’s unexpected lead. In a dramatic final stage, Ritter stages a comeback to win overall—and vows to uncover whether Falck’s last-minute mechanical failure was chance or conspiracy.

The idea of mystery unites the three debut stories - the original Bermuda Triangle with its mysterious phenomena has begun to shift and can be traced anywhere in the world, including Czech and Slovak territory. Here, too, unexplained shifts in space and time occur. This idea is supported by the aforementioned short stories, but the inventiveness of the subject matter and staging is very heavy-handed, and the film passed through the cinemas without much interest.

Two inseparable friends, Vyžilý and Boudník, a village self-made talent and a not-so-successful professional theatre actor, want to make a living as entertainers. But they are running up against both the ceiling of their abilities and the disfavour of the approval authorities. The normalization era of the 70s and 80s does not favour anything distinctive and both heroes repeatedly experience setbacks. Although the story of a lost generation was planned at the end of the former regime, it was not released until 1990.

After many decades in Germany, Marie Hahn will come to Prague to meet her relatives and friends. She learns unflattering information about her husband's behaviour during the German occupation, she suffers health problems, but even her daughter is not interested in helping her mother...

Jindra is a carefree young man, always surrounded by a bevy of girls. He has two small siblings, whom he has to take care of when his parents go abroad. But his little brother misses him, so Jindra tries to find a replacement for his mother. Unfortunately, he is unable to choose a girl from the crowd who would cheer his brother up. Finally, Jindra's manager Marie Mašková offers her help...

The film is set in the environment of the internationally renowned Pardubice Steeplechase, with the main roles being devoted to equestrian sport outside of filming.
