When a human head is discovered, the paths of a female student, a cellist, an autistic teenager, a police officer, a prostitute, a teacher and a dog are found to be serendipitously entwined. Who caused the death? What is the motive? Where is the body? Attempts to answer these questions lead to keywords starting with the letter "G". As the case is peeled back layer by layer, the complexity and desperation of the people living in Hong Kong today are slowly uncovered, and a suspenseful multifarious Hong Kong story is revealed.

A wonderfully charming and bittersweet story about teenage friendship, idealist dreams and a city that transcend changing times, this rare Hong Kong-produced gem influenced by Hayao Miyazaki and Shunji Iwai sweeps with nostalgia. In search of an answer for her broken marriage, Gigi journeys into her shiny high school year memories only to discover a deeply hidden secret that will transform her life.

Sunshine has been fighting on the side of justice since she was little. Cherry is a mute girl who eschews spoken words for messages scribbled on paper planes to communicate her thoughts. A war has been declared on an odiously fawning principal, an overbearing PTA chairman (and overprotective father of Cherry), a team of opportunistic teachers and a class of students innocent no more! Teaming up with a tech-savvy mentor (the school janitor), a range of DIY gadgets and the occasional indulgence of mischievous acts, Cherry conducts a series of covert operations and comes to Cherry’s rescue at a choral speaking competition.
