Xenia Desni was an Ukrainian stage and screen actress. During the Russian Revolution her family fled first to Constantinople and later to Weimar/Germany. She started out as a vaudeville artist.

A murder in a winter sports hotel jolts Inspector Eyck out of his cozy, relaxed holiday mood.
