Based on Mykola Khvylovyi’s novel I Am (Romance). The protagonist of this unsettling film, a man with the strange surname Hlavkoverkh, is obsessed with a romantic ideal of freedom, for which he does not stop even at the execution of his own mother.

The forces of evil—a little man, his nephew, a girl, and a ninja—steal the Sacred Lily from a monastery. Matsuoka and his companion overcome fantastical challenges in their struggle against these forces in order to rescue the Lily.
