Azer Yasharsoy is an Azerbaijani filmmaker whose creative vision spans writing, directing, and composing. He first gained recognition with his award‑winning short film SEV(D)A, a work that established his reputation as a bold new voice in contemporary cinema. Through this debut, Yasharsoy demonstrated his ability to merge narrative, image, and music into a unified artistic language. In addition to his filmmaking career, Yasharsoy is a PhD student in International Relations.
