Louis Pothen is an all rounder. He is divorce lawyer, he participates in live TV channel debates on various topics, and he is a film critic, too. His wife Vasuki Iyer is a Kathakali artist, and together with his school-going daughter, they live in a city highrise. The story further focuses on an incident that sort of transformed the lively Vasuki into an introvert. What follows is a dramatic exploration of Vasuki's recent past and how she gets over it.

A group of college students form a music troupe. However, their dreams of becoming musicians come to a halt when the main singer of the troupe falls in love with a girl.

However their daughter Annie (Parvathy) is a simple girl who's very cordial with Varyar's family which includes Varyar's wife Sarojam (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) and son Dr. Suresh (Sai Kumar). Annie is in love with Suresh's friend Benny (Ganesh), but her parents wants her to marry someone else. Suresh promises to help Annie. Meanwhile on one side, Varyar's honesty is growing to be a bigger headache as each day passes for Pathrose.

The story of Arjun (Mohanlal) who takes up the business empire of his father Ananthan (Madhu) who has been sent to jail and his clashes with his father's rivals.

Things take a grim turn when Raji, and then Latha's cousin Suresh, both turn up murdered one after the other. The evidence unearthed by Hariharan seems to implicate either Latha or her sister Malini - but are the girls up to murder to protect their dad's good name?

Alex, who is awaiting execution, confesses to having committed six out of the seven murders he is acquitted for. Officer Sethurama Iyer decides to trace the original murderer of the seventh one.
