An unreservedly matter-of-fact look at two young women who consider prostitution an adventure until reality catches up with them.

The protagonist, a man in his early 30s, is primarily interested in one thing: rap music. The family always comes second. After his wife leaves him over night, he can no longer ignore his sons. Even though the emotional distance seems irreconcilable, he increasingly gains authority in his paternal role - that is, until mother Conny suddenly returns.

Merano detective Andreas Mitterer already has enough problems – the last thing he needs is the "new partner" his superior, Giuseppe Malatesta, has chosen for him. The latter, however, has only the best of intentions, as Mitterer has been traumatized since the accidental death of his wife three years ago, a fact that hasn't gone unnoticed by the rest of his team: forensic pathologist Eva Rossi, forensic investigator Chiara Felice, and team assistant Giuliana Pucci.

Young police chief Sandra Mohr returns to her hometown of Graz with a bad feeling. Together with her new boss, Sascha Bergmann, she is tasked with solving the death of a journalist who was planning to write an article on abuse of office and nepotism.

The twelve-year old immigrant Veysel and his family have a hard time to become integrated into Austrian life. They have more and more inner family-oriented problems. Veysel's neighbour Cem teaches him how to pronounce a poem in German for school. At the time when Veysel wants to take the courage to recite it to his secret love Ana, the immigration police disrupts his plans.

Through his work at a morgue, an incarcerated young man trying to build a new life starts to come to terms with the crime he committed.

In southern Burgenland, Austria, 18-year-old Renate is found dead in a wooded area. Investigator Elfriede Jandrasits, who is known for her tenacity at the Eisenstadt Criminal Police Office, takes on the case. She is under a lot of time pressure because her husband's retirement party is imminent.

Anna and Bogdan's decision to say goodbye to each other, made with a heavy heart, is put to the test: Anna is pregnant and decides to have an abortion without involving Bogdan. As is so often the case, however, events in a small community such as the three women at the Pichlerhof cannot be kept secret. Burgi informs Bogdan. But Anna's strategy of silence also involves him in a chain of disastrous misunderstandings. Once again, Anna's thick head gets her into big conflicts. In the end, it is Burgi, the old granny, who turns fate around with her bluntly self-centered wisdom.

The Fischbach brothers and their families live next door to each other just outside Vienna. Hubert works for an oil company, Viktor runs an organic food store. When a climate protection competition is announced in the community, it's all about who uses less energy. The compost is felted and the effect of soap nuts is relied upon. The brothers' increasingly childish squabbling also drives their wives up the wall - and turns the petty war into delicious fun against narrow-minded over-correctness.
