The film constructs a strongly conventionalised and symbolic world out of the diary fragments of a man who underwent an alcohol detoxification treatment. The protagonist of this unusual family story, Petunia Joe, lives in a house with his mother and grandfather. One day, he suddenly turns adult. Out in LIFE, he takes his first steps in the Factory. Meaningless work is performed and barren relationships are formed among the rusted walls.

A terminally ill writer (Jozef Kroner) of national prominence watches as family and friends gather like vultures for his imminent demise. Relli (Alexander Bardini) smiles and pretends to be the writer's friend as he tries to get his hands on an unpublished manuscript. The opening scene is the highlight of the film. While the dead writer is being laid to rest in a national funeral, he emerges from the coffin and walks into his own grave while the mourners flee in terror.

Ferenc Molnár's cartoons, published in various newspapers in the 1920s and 1930s, were not originally intended for performance. The producers of the show brought them to life with great authorial ideas and sparkling dialogues. Some of the scenes, which touch on the bourgeois life of the time in Pest, may be relevant to today's Pest, and promise to entertain the audience.

SS doctor during the war worked on the serum of cancer, but discovered a terrible poison, one vial is enough to kill 100 000 people. 20 years after the war, the old Nazi gets out of prison, and the hunt for him and his discovery begins.

A priest who has been set free from prison recently joins a spy organization.

Andras Kovacs' film, considered one of the most important Hungarian films of the 1960s, centers around four men who await trial for their involvement in the massacre of several thousand Jewish and Serbian people of Novi Sad in 1942. Each denies any responsibility, claiming that they were only following orders. The film is significant for its willingness to address the subject of Hungary's role in WWII, which was taboo at the time of the its release.

Blondie sulks at first, but her lover overcomes her resentment. They try again, together.

After liberating a Hungarian town, Soviet troops rescue a hidden throng of civilians, huddled in underground tunnels, from imminent Nazi brutality, saving countless lives in the process.

Marci is drafted from a typical block building in the 6th district in Pest. He says good-bye to Juli living in the same house, with whom they are both very much fond of each other, but neither of them makes a confession. Juli works in a factory, and with her friend Gizus she goes out in the evening for dancing and drinking. After a year, Marci comes back for holiday, he is full of love.

The composer Berki András, in his co-tenancy noisy with the barking of dogs and the hullabaloo of children, is unable to compose the new song for his fiancée, the singer, although the premiere is near.
