10+10 is a project initiated by the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival to demonstrate the solidarity between Taiwanese film-makers. 20 directors are invited to make a 5-minute short film each on the theme of the “Uniqueness of Taiwan,” but allowed total freedom in all other aspects.

Lanyu - Orchid Island, is a small tropical island where its aboriginals take preys on the flying fish, a symbol of bliss and abundance, to make their living. Three young men Behong, Jeddah and Qingkuang known on the island as the "Three Musketeers" for their life long friendship and strong bond are enjoying their little piece of tranquility.One summer day, a beautiful young woman named Zing arrives in this small island from Taipei. She is on a business trip to survey remote regions for cellular coverage and will inadvertently change the Three Musketeers lives and hers as well…

Between 1979 and 1983, 117 violent and gritty social realist pictures were produced in Taiwan. Many of these found their way around the world courtesy of Hong Kong's IFD films.

Though frail and possessing abysmal baseball skills, Nien refuses to give up his love for the sport; he dreams that one day he might shine in the MLB. Meanwhile, his friend Li harbors a modest dream of her own—to go away and sell mangoes—but the stifling pressure exerted by her father leaves her struggling to even catch her breath.
