The movie revolves around Indira, who is serving life sentence in the jail. She has been charged for the murder of Avarachan, a landlord who killed a young tribal woman after raping her.

Janakikutty, who is ignored by her family, once gets confronted with the vision of a murdered lady. They become friends. By the power of that spirit, Janaki's uncaring family suffers many mishaps.
