Guy Todd Williams (born February 13, 1963), known by his stage name Rahiem, is a hip-hop musician. In 1978, Rahiem joined a group called The Funky 4. He and his group became known throughout New York City for their rap routines and choreographed dance steps. In May of 1979, Rahiem and his group battled Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 4 at the Webster Avenue P.A.L in the Bronx. Grandmaster Flash and his group won the battle, but a couple of days later, two members of Flash’s group came to Rahiem’s Mom’s apartment and asked Rahiem to join their group, which he did.
