Ali is a Bahraini stand-up comedian, actor, voice actor, writer, and director. He was one of the first generation of stand-up comics in the Arabian Gulf in 2007. He quickly grew in popularity, and demand for his material took him all over the region. From local shows, to him opening for international stars like Maz Jobrani and Omid Djalili. Stand-up took Ali down the road of voice acting, and then acting. From radio work, to shorts and commercials.. Ali then established his "Misfitz-Comedy" sketch comedy program in 2015, which was solely based on his stand-up material in the middle east. NRSaloom, a mischievous young Bahrain boy from an economically challenged background pretends to be sick to avoid school. He spends the entire day listening to his older brother’s mixtape to the point where he ruins the tape and falls out with his brother when he is discovered. Ashamed and determined to fix the tape, he rushes to a local music shop to get it fixed… but can’t. Now he must remake the tape using his memory and ultimately discover his hidden talent and potential for music
