This modern variation on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Girl with the Matchsticks" begins Christmas in a home for the disabled. They requisition the collected donations and set off to explore Munich at night. There, all doors are initially closed to the wheelchair gang, but then the friends meet an angel in the form of a lighter saleswoman who grants them three wishes.
