Since 1975, Japan’s iconic Super Sentai series has defined the tokusatsu landscape. Now, after 50 years, Japan’s weekly tokusatsu broadcasting timeslot will welcome a brand-new project by Toei titled, PROJECT R.E.D. (short for Records of Extraordinary Dimensions). PROJECT R.E.D. is a new tokusatsu series featuring a red hero in action.

In ancient times, gigantic creatures called "Mega Horn" ruled the Earth, but they were sealed away in items called "Egorgear" and disappeared. In modern times, humans have emerged using megaphone-like items called "Kakuseiki" to draw out the power of the Mega Horn sealed in the Egorgear. They've come to be known as "Hunters". Shout the Flame, an explorer well-versed in ancient scripts one day discovers a Kakuseiki and an Egorgear on an altar of an ancient ruin. Confused by the "Omegahorn", which is different from the standard version, he sets the Egorgear in place and a giant horned beast named Enkaku appears! Seeing the qualities of a "king" in Shout's Ego, Enkaku demands to call himself "Captain Omegahorn" and fight alongside him, leading to a battle against a diverse cast of hunters wherever they go.

Seeking the truth behind the "Biscatonic Cluster Incident", which claimed an unprecedented number of victims and turned Death Gavan evil, Gavan Infinity —Reiji Doki— sets out for Planet Alkam, one of the planets where the incident took place. There, Gavan Raiya —Kunai Kazanami— who was tracking Death Gavan’s whereabouts, also appears from across dimensions…

Negative Emorgy emanating from MultiEarth A0073 coalesced into a massive void that swallowed the sun. The world lost its light and was engulfed in deep darkness. The most formidable enemy, Gavan Killer, who aims to annihilate all Gavans, pushes Reiji and his friends into an unprecedented life or death situation.

As graduation approaches, two high school friends turn fake ghost videos into a viral social media sensation. But when they venture into a supposedly haunted building in search of their biggest hit yet, they capture something real—and unleash a terrifying supernatural force.

In "MultiEarth Α0073", which has entered an era of cosmic coexistence, crimes involving the exploitation of energy-based lifeforms known as "Emorgy" are breaking out one after another. Reiji Doki, an investigator for the Galaxy Federal Police, is Gavan Infinity—the only one in the cosmos permitted to bear the title "Space Sheriff Gavan." Yet he is assigned to the marginalized Archives Division, where he endures constant ridicule from detectives in the First Investigative Division. Few know his true mission: investigating trans-dimensional Emorgear crimes.
