A married ex-Marine gets seduced by the same mysterious woman because of whom he ended up in prison some years ago. Is she the true love of his life, or the biggest mistake he's ever made?

Jonas Mekas weaves an elegiac diary film from his 1971–72 return to Lithuania, chronicling a visit to his birthplace of Semeniškiai after decades in exile. Blending personal memory with documentary observation, the film becomes both a portrait of homecoming and a meditation on displacement, family, and the passage of time.

Johnny goes to Athena's Palace to appraise the property for a potential business loan. He enters an exciting and seductive world there. Intrigued by the beautiful strip-dancer Brandy, he agrees to value her house as well. She insists on paying Johnny for his valuation with a private striptease dance. Her friend Carlo, an ex-con on parole, is immediately jealous and sees the opportunity for blackmail.
